Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a long-term care setting delivering efficient and effective nursing care to residents, directing nursing care during shifts, mentoring nursing personnel, coordinating with physicians and other professionals, and ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations. Responsibilities include admitting/transferring/discharging residents with care documentation, orienting residents/families, participating in facility surveys, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction, serving as a resource to staff, charting progress notes, reporting changes in condition, skin management, ordering/reports of diagnostic tests, narcotics counts, and medication administration. Requirements include a valid state license, strong communication skills, integrity, adaptability, teamwork, and at least one year of long-term care experience (preferred). Shifts are 12 hours with weekend/holiday flexibility. Required Qualifications
