Job Summary
Provide direct patient care, assist with care for patients of others, and make patient care assignments to other staff members on duty. Interpret, implement, and enforce all facility policies and procedures while supervising CNA staff. Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatments, observe patients, record significant conditions, and communicate changes in patient condition to the charge nurse, supervisor, and physician. Document all relevant information and safety issues in a timely manner. Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license, minimum one year experience, and CPR certification required. Must be able to work any shift as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN with current state license
- Current CPR certification
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills in the nursing process necessary for those patients requiring the expertise of a professional registered nurse
- Must be able to work any shift as needed and be flexible with scheduling requirements
