Job Summary
Conduct all clinical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, including collecting patient data, performing treatments, providing discharge teaching, and escalating emergency situations. Manage clinical situations by participating in interdisciplinary care teams, making referrals to multidisciplinary support services, and integrating cost-effective measures into nursing practice. Complete required curriculum classes, clinical competencies, and validation requirements while adhering to policies for infection control, medication administration, and patient confidentiality. Fulfill unit call assignments and adjust staffing based on census and acuity.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing
- Greater than twelve (12) months LPN experience
- Current LPN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or licensed to practice as an LPN in the state the team member is working
- Variable (United States of America) work shift
