Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Renal (Med Surg) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Full-Time Day shift (7 am – 7 pm). The LPN provides high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, participates in data collection for patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, supports interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift report, administers treatments and medications by various routes, documents care, and contributes to a collaborative, evidence-based practice environment. Responsibilities include ensuring culturally sensitive care, patient and family engagement, and ongoing professional development; serves as a preceptor/mentor for other LPNs and upholds organizational policies and safety standards. Location: HEPHZIBAH, GA (US).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program
- Current/active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association prior to hire date
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas
