Job Summary
LPN in Renal (Med Surg) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital, full-time day shift (7 am–7 pm). Provides patient-centered, data-informed nursing care under RN supervision; administers treatments and medications; participates in interdisciplinary rounds; supports documentation and quality improvement; may serve as a preceptor or mentor for other LPNs; adheres to regulatory and organizational standards and policies; emphasizes teamwork, communication, and culturally competent care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program
- Current/active LPN license in the State of Georgia
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas
- Experience in healthcare preferred; ambulatory/outpatient experience preferred; hospital-based experience may substitute
- Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in English; basic computer skills; ability to work under supervision of RN
