Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Renal (Med Surg) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Full-Time/Day shift (7 am - 7 pm). Provides patient-centered care in collaboration with RNs and an interdisciplinary team, administering treatments/medications, supporting nursing tasks, and contributing to performance improvement and evidence-based practice. Requires active Georgia LPN licensure, current BLS, and completion of an accredited LPN program; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit. Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for maintaining safe, high-quality patient care in an inpatient hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas
