Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Renal (Med Surg) department at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Full-time day shift (7 am - 7 pm). Provides patient-centered care under the supervision of the registered nurse, participates in data collection and care planning, administers treatments and medications, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include bedside shift reports, documentation, adherence to clinical practice standards, patient comfort and safety measures, and participation in performance improvement. Requires Georgia LPN licensure and a current BLS card; ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas.
