Job Summary
LPN in Renal (Med Surg) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital, full-time day shift (7 am - 7 pm). Provide patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of the RN, participate in interdisciplinary teamwork, administer treatments and medications by various routes, partake in data collection and care planning, and uphold professional standards per Georgia Board of Nursing and WellStar practice model. Requires an accredited LPN program graduate and an active Georgia LPN license; BLS is required prior to hire, ACLS/PALS may be required in some areas. Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills are essential to support safe, high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program
- Current/active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas
