Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Renal (Med Surg) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital, full-time day shift (7 am - 7 pm). Provides patient-centered care under supervision of the RN, administers treatments and medications, participates in data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, and ensures safe, high-quality patient care. Demonstrates teamwork with interdisciplinary team, documentation, and ongoing professional development; serves as a preceptor/mentor for other LPNs and upholds organizational policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas.
