Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Renal (Med Surg) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital, full-time, day shift (7 am-7 pm). Provides patient-centered nursing care under RN supervision in a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, administering treatments and medications, documenting care, collaborating with the healthcare team, engaging patients and families, and participating in performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program
- Current/active LPN license in the State of Georgia
- BLS Card from American Heart Association prior to hire date
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Strong organizational/time-management skills
- English language proficiency; good communication with staff, providers, and patients
