Job Summary
LPN in Renal (Med Surg) at WellStar Cobb Hospital. Full-time day shift (7 am–7 pm) performing patient-centered nursing under RN supervision within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include data collection for patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; administering treatments and medications; documentation; ensuring safe, high-quality patient care; promoting evidence-based practice and participation in performance improvement; mentoring other licensed practical nurses; upholding professional standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Requires active LPN license in Georgia, BLS, and graduation from an accredited LPN program; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on practice area; prior healthcare experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program
- Current/active LPN license in the State of Georgia
- BLS from American Heart Association prior to hire date
- ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas
- Strong interpersonal/human relations skills; able to communicate effectively in English; basic computer skills
