Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time, Night Shift, Assisted Living. The LPN provides professional nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician for residents in long-term care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as ordered, participating in care planning, conducting nursing assessments, documenting resident interactions and outcomes, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health, safety, and well-being. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an unencumbered LPN license. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. May require IV therapy/management per facility protocol. Sign-on bonus available and benefits for eligible part-time employees. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Current licensure and ability to complete continuing education requirements
- Experience with administering medications and treatments as ordered, in a long-term care setting
- Ability to work in a team-based, interdisciplinary care environment
- Knowledge of resident education principles and self-care concepts
- Ability to perform testing to evaluate resident status as part of care plan
- Ability to document resident interactions and outcomes
