Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act, implementing clinician-initiated plans of care and delivering accurate, timely documentation. Assess patients and families for education regarding diagnosis and care plans, while coordinating home health services by reporting needs to the clinician, supervisor, and other disciplines. Utilize equipment and supplies effectively, participate in personal and professional growth, and perform other duties as assigned by the Registered nurse. Requires current Pennsylvania LPN licensure, valid CPR certificate, and at least two years of pediatric experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania
- Valid CPR Certificate
- At least two years experience working with pediatric patients
- Compliant with accepted professional standards and practices
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills
