Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Document resident conditions and nursing needs, implement physician orders accurately, and administer medications while maintaining strict compliance with state and federal regulations. Supervise and direct junior staff, including CNAs, by assigning care based on resident capabilities and evaluating team performance. Coordinate nursing care for residents undergoing therapy or procedures, ensure unit supplies and equipment are maintained safely, and report pertinent observations regarding resident reactions. Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel and interview applicants for hiring recommendations.
