Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary
LPN provides skilled nursing care to patients in the Intermediate/Medical Nursing Home Care Unit and Psychiatric units; administers commonly prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous) per local facility policies; collaborates with healthcare professionals across units under supervision of the Nurse Manager; operates independently when appropriate in coordination with supervisory staff; shifts include 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, and 7:30 PM–8:00 AM, including Federal Holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved school of practical or vocational nursing
- Active, current licensure as a professional nurse in the state, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory
- Current CPR/BLS certificate by the American Heart Association
