Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans, policies and procedures, and nursing standards of care. Lead and direct Nursing/Resident Care Assistants, admit/transfer/discharge residents, monitor resident status, document nursing notes, transcribe and verify physician orders, administer medications, complete shift assessments, and communicate with physicians, residents, families, and nursing staff about residents' condition and changes. Perform other duties including special projects as assigned. Requires active LPN license in Alabama and CPR certification within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- One (1) year experience in a health care facility preferred
