Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Part-time Days

Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, assisting health care providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures. Obtain patient health history, vital signs, and laboratory specimens while conducting lab tests and ensuring results are delivered to the correct physician. Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities, administer medications, and document all patient contacts using the POMR format. Review patient charts to report observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in conditions. This part-time day shift position at Cache County Jail includes 7am to 3pm weekdays and 7am until med pass on weekends, with a schedule of 2-3 days a week including every other weekend for med pass.
Required Qualifications
- Current/Active state license as an LPN
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen
