Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time All Shifts Available

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role in a part-time capacity at Scott Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lakeland, FL. Responsibilities include Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents; Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians; Medication administration; following infection control, emergencies, and center policies; collaborating with the resident’s interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes; identifying and reporting changes in residents’ condition; working under direct supervision per state nurse practice act and facility policies; delivering care to patients requiring long-term or rehabilitative care; collecting patient data, making observations, and reporting pertinent information; implementing the patient plan of care and evaluating responses per state regulations; directing and supervising care by other nursing staff when applicable; maintaining documentation requirements and equipment knowledge; maintaining patient confidentiality and rights. Qualifications include an active LPN license, CPR certification, and preferred two years of nursing experience.
