Job Summary
Provide safe, resident-focused nursing care in accordance with BCCNM standards, developing and evaluating individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments per clinical standards, while observing and reporting changes in resident condition to the RN and care team. Support and mentor care staff, document care accurately, and participate in safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts. Work a part-time 0.70 FTE schedule with day or night shifts (07:00-19:00 or 19:00-7:00) at Kootenay Street Village in Cranbrook, BC. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses
- Current full practicing licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
