Job Summary
LPN/RPN position focused on delivering person-centred nursing care to residents. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, conducting comprehensive assessments, planning and implementing care, documenting care and resident information in electronic health records, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, administering medications, performing standard nursing procedures (including assessments, vital signs, wound care, and palliative care), and upholding residents’ rights and ethical standards. Requires provincial LPN/RPN program graduation, active licensure, and at least 1 year of related experience. Casual, temporary shifts (Day/Evening/Night) in Spruce Grove, AB with unionized AUPE setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)/Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)
- At least one (1) year recent related experience
- Active registration with provincial College (BCCNP, CLPNA, or RPNAO)
- First Aid certification as required by provincial legislation
