Job Summary
Conduct daily patient care including rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting with clinical procedures such as mole removals, Pap smears, and laceration repairs. Perform diagnostic screenings like pulmonary function tests, EKGs, and drug collections, administer injections, and execute phlebotomy for laboratory specimens. Provide patient education on diabetes and glucose management, triage calls, and maintain stocked patient rooms and facility safety. Collaborate with providers, order prescriptions, and complete CPT/ICD-10 coding for encounters. Support off-site clinics with vaccinations and blood pressure checks. Requires an active Ohio LPN license, CPR/AED certification, and ability to manage confidential information. Up to 20% travel may be required to support manufacturing facilities across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Ohio nursing guidelines
- Familiarity with current CDC immunization requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- Proficiency in multitasking and maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Active Ohio LPN license in good standing
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Up to 20% travel
