Job Summary
Provides nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting as an LPN or RN on part-time PM shifts. Responsibilities include performing physical assessments and ongoing observations, administering medications and treatments, updating and following care plans (including CNAs/NA-R involvement), documenting in the electronic medical record, coordinating with physicians and the care team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting resident/family education. Shifts are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM or 4:30 PM–9:00 PM with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation; active ND LPN license (or ability to obtain) is required. Required Qualifications
- Active North Dakota LPN license or ability to obtain upon hire
- RN or LPN licensure eligible for ND
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
- PM shifts (2:00 PM-10:30 PM) or (4:30 PM-9:00 PM) availability
- Part-time availability with every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Proficient in nursing assessments and ongoing observation
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document care in electronic medical record
- Follow residents’ plans of care and interdisciplinary care plans
- Coordinate with Charge Nurse and attending physician
- Maintain compliance with Minnesota/North Dakota Department of Health and CMS requirements
- Provide resident and family education and support
- Staff orientation/training participation
- Timecard management responsibilities
- Commitment to ongoing nursing skill development
- Ability to carry out other duties as assigned by team
- CNA/NA-R collaboration in resident care
- Documentation accuracy and accountability
- Team collaboration and communication with physicians and other facilities
