Job Summary

Perform a variety of patient care activities and assist providers and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard of practice. Restock supplies in the work area and maintain a safe working environment while taking vital signs, history, and providing patient education. Establish effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and staff while communicating clearly and responding to detailed oral and written instructions. Maintain quality control standards and react calmly during emergency situations. Utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, and medical records. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm as a full-time role.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri
  • BLS certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Skill in taking vital signs
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public
  • Ability to maintain quality control standard and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations
  • Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions
  • Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs
  • Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing
