Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Richmond Diabetes & Endocrinology provides patient care under physician direction. Collaborates with physicians and health care team to meet patient/family needs; delivers direct basic nursing care per LPN scope; labels/packages specimens; supports indirect care through clerical/administrative duties; acts as chaperone during patient examinations; assists with procedures, treatments, and interventions; maintains patient responses documentation and reporting. Strong communication, organization, and computer-based scheduling/registration skills; able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure or LPN applicant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
