Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Provides nursing and health care services to individuals served in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures and within the state Nurse Practice Act. Performs nursing duties, administers medications and treatments as ordered, and documents vital signs and clinical observations. Provides training to both clients and Open Arms Care Corporation staff; participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings for ISP development and desensitization programs as needed. Maintains medication storage security, follows pharmacy/state procedures, and supports safety and quality of care. Participates in on-call rotations and collaborates with physicians and Health Services Director as required. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to assist with care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
