Job Summary
LPN in an assisted living community providing direct nursing care and clinical assessment to residents. Lead NOC (overnight) shift, supporting and guiding CNAs and care staff. 12-hour shifts on a full-time schedule with rotating weekends in Omaha, NE. Key responsibilities include responding to changes in condition, documenting per policies, coordinating with on-call providers, maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, and ensuring nursing service procedures are current. Strong preference for prior Assisted Living/Memory Care experience; must be able to work independently as the primary clinical resource during night hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of Assisted Living experience
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN/LVN in this state
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
