Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing hands-on clinical support to Assisted Living residents, leading the overnight care team on NOC shift, and ensuring safe, compliant nursing care. Responsibilities include direct nursing care, documentation, medication administration, supervising CNAs, and coordinating with on-call providers. Strong preference for Assisted Living/Memory Care experience; requires active LPN/LVN license in state and nursing degree or LPN/LVN program completion. Perform duties in a 12-hour shift with weekend rotation, at Ovation Heartwood Preserve in Omaha, NE.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of Assisted Living experience
- Must Possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN/LVN in this state.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- CPR / BSL
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
