Job Summary
Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with personal hygiene for residents while monitoring vital signs and reporting abnormalities. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and care plans, ensuring compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and families to address resident concerns, participate in care conferences, and advocate for patient dignity and emotional well-being. Follow infection control protocols and use personal protective equipment appropriately to maintain a safe environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LPN or LVN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and nursing documentation
