Job Summary
Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Units and housing units under RN supervision. Implement treatment programs, administer medications including IV therapy if certified, and perform diagnostic tests per established protocols. Collaborate in controlled substance counts, respond to codes or health emergencies, and assist in medical or minor surgical procedures. Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting and attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions. Maintain current LPN licensure and CPR certification with a preference for one year of clinic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
