Job Summary
Provide one-on-one patient care in the privacy of the patient's home, building close relationships to empower clients to remain independent. Deliver compassionate private duty care while promoting personal safety and maintaining compliance with agency policies. Work 12-hour Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts with every other weekend availability, traveling up to 60 miles across multiple homes. Maintain current LPN licensure, BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of in-home health care experience
- Must have every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must be willing to travel up to 60 miles
- Must be willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
- Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in the state(s) of practice
- Current hands-on BLS certification and TB test
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations
- Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must be able to provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees
- Proactively identify Company risks and institute policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance using related law and industry data
- Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess ability to analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions; utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
- Maintain current state licensure
- Maintain current liability and malpractice insurance, if applicable
- Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse license to practice professional nursing in each state where patient care is supervised
- current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid and current CPR Certification
- Valid and current License Practical Nurse license in the state of practice
