Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision, supporting the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents in a skilled nursing environment. Build meaningful relationships by learning life stories of residents and staff while maintaining a care environment centered on dignity and compassion. Create a comforting atmosphere through supportive presence, promote teamwork to exceed resident needs, and collaborate with facility teams to ensure coordinated comprehensive care. Conduct thorough assessments, accurately document changes in resident condition, and manage medications proficiently. Work the night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM in a low-stress environment with guaranteed hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana
- Proficient medication management skills
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
