Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care and supervision to residents, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, and ensures quality care. Responsibilities include treatments, wound care, and medication administration; supervise CNAs/CMAs and delegate tasks; monitor conditions, perform focused assessments, and report changes; participate in care planning, documentation, and resident/family education; ensure accurate medical records and logs; promote infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance; foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
