Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing services per the care plan and state practice acts. Responsibilities include instructing patients and caregivers in care and disease management, documenting teaching and compliance, observing patient responses, and making care plan recommendations. The role requires a current LPN license and at least one year of clinical experience, with less experienced candidates receiving mentorship. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered, current Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Graduate of a state approved LPN program
- Minimum one (1) year clinical experience as an LPN
- Individuals with less than one full year’s experience will be considered
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in home health care is desirable
