Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse in the neurology unit, performing professional nursing duties including administering and documenting medications, preparing patients for tests and procedures, initiating appropriate emergency measures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to plan and update care. Educate patients and families, communicate effectively with hospital staff, and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record. Uphold GBMC values of Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork, Ethical Behavior, and Results while delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR Certification (not required for Hospice employee)
