Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Coordinate and provide nursing care for residents while supervising and directing clinical staff members, including junior staff and CNAs. Accurately implement physicians' orders, administer medications, and document resident conditions, reactions, and nursing needs in compliance with state regulations. Assign nursing care to team members, participate in orientation and in-service training, and ensure supplies and equipment are maintained safely. Supervise the nursing unit by scheduling staff, managing inventory, and coordinating care for therapy or procedures. Interview applicants and recommend hires within the scope of the state practice act.
