Job Summary
Deliver safe and efficient care to patients on the telemetry unit by implementing plans of care, administering ordered medications and treatments, and performing phlebotomy services. Provide direct nursing care and assist with patient needs under the direction of registered nurses, physicians, or advanced practice nurses. Contribute to the care plan with input from patients, families, and the healthcare team while utilizing appropriate medical equipment. Complete required Basic Arrhythmia class and undergo EPIC EHR training. Work evenings and nights for 36 scheduled weekly hours with a minimum pay of $23.20 and maximum of $35.97.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an LPN or LPN applicant (Licensed Practical Nurse)
- Completion of an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) Program
- High School Degree or GED
- One year of clinical patient care experience (e.g., PCT, CNA, LPN) in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice (beyond the one year minimum)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training
- Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class with a passing grade on exam
