Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN ) - MAT

Administer medications to patients in treatment and perform nursing assessments for new admissions or readmissions. Review prescriptions and OTC medications to assess adverse reactions, while performing venipuncture, injections, and on-site TB tests as ordered. Carry out all physician orders, including telephone directives, and assist with rooming patients and guest dosing. Record and report observed symptoms, changes in patient condition, and urine specimen results to the interdisciplinary team and medical director. Count client medications to monitor for diversion or abuse, answer nursing-related phone calls, and provide first aid as needed. Maintain licensure in Iowa and exercise independent judgment in a team environment supporting the medication assisted treatment program.
