Job Summary
Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures consistent with PAM Health policies. Work in an age and population-appropriate manner while performing other related duties as assigned. Maintain current LPN/LVN licensure, BLS certification, and IV certification within the required timeframe. This role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for growth through the Education Advancement Program, and a supportive leadership environment within PAM Health's collaborative post-acute care network.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
