Job Summary
Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner. Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing other related duties as assigned or requested. Maintain current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of residence and hold current BLS certification. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred, though prior emergency or critical care experience is a plus. Work flexible nights in a supportive collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth through the Education Advancement Program.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
- A higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- Having 2 years of experience in direct patient care
