Job Summary
Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner. Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing other related duties as assigned. Requires current LPN/LVN licensure, BLS certification, and IV certification within 90 days of employment. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred. Full-time night shift position at PAM Health's specialty healthcare locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
