Job Summary
Coordinate total client care plans with the RN and physician, following assigned nursing care plans while observing and evaluating client progress. Accurately report and record client conditions, prepare daily clinical notes, and assist clients with activities of daily living and self-care techniques. Maintain a safe physical and emotional environment, prepare treatment equipment using aseptic technique, and perform specialized procedures only within qualified training limits. Confirm weekly visit schedules and participate in case conferences and in-service programs. Requires a car with insurance, state driver's license, and ability to travel to client residences.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved program of practical/vocational Nursing
- Licensed as a licensed graduate Practical Nurse in the state where practicing
- One (1) year of experience as a nurse
- Must have a car with required insurance coverage and a state driver's license or reliable transportation
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position
- Able to travel to prospective clients' residences
