Job Summary
Coordinate total client care plans alongside RNs and physicians, following assigned care plans and evaluating client conditions. Accurately record client status, progress notes, and weekly summaries while assisting with activities of daily living and teaching self-care techniques. Perform specialized treatments per physician plans, maintaining aseptic technique and confirming visit schedules weekly. Provide a safe, physical, and emotional environment for clients, including travel to residences, while participating in case conferences and in-service programs. Requires a state driver's license, reliable transportation, and one year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved program of practical/vocational Nursing
- Licensed as a licensed graduate Practical Nurse in the state where practicing
- One (1) year of experience as a nurse
- Must have a car with required insurance coverage and a state driver's license or reliable transportation
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position
- Able to travel to prospective clients' residences
