Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Requires current LPN/LVN license, completion of an approved LPN program, and ability to work 12-hour shifts. Role involves ensuring quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local standards under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Nurse Supervisor. Responsibilities include bedside nursing, patient assessments, care planning, and maintaining professional standards; opportunities include bi-weekly/payroll details, full-time benefits (PTO from day one, 401k, life insurance for FT), ongoing education, and staff engagement. Location is Ravenna, OH, USA; on-site work with full-time and per diem shift options.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active LPN/LVN license in this state
- Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
- English language proficiency (read, write, speak, understand)
- Willingness to supervise nursing assistants and perform direct nursing care
- Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations
