Job Summary
Conduct direct care for residents and supervise non-professional personnel in the Nursing Department at our 60-bed facility. Administer, stock, and dispose of medications per facility policies while ensuring Certified Nursing Assistants properly administer services. Maintain adequate CNA coverage on each shift and communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Requires active Virginia LPN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience in long-term care preferred. Works part-time days from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. We specialize in long-term care, intermediate, and short-term rehabilitation, focusing on a nurturing environment with a human touch.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Must have active LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care preferred
