Job Summary
Administer, stock, and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies while supervising non-professional personnel and ensuring adequate CNA coverage on each shift. Provide direct care to residents at our 60-bed long-term care facility, verifying that all services are properly administered. Maintain active LPN licensure in Virginia and demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care. Work full-time evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. We specialize in intermediate and long-term care, focusing on creating a nurturing environment while providing the best care available to our patients.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Must have active LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
- Full Time: Evenings 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care preferred
