Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Dementia/Alzheimer's Unit, you will provide professional patient care to long-term care residents. Key responsibilities include directing and monitoring the care provided by CNAs, ensuring proper documentation, timely medication administration, performing treatments as per physician orders, and maintaining resident care documentation using computerized medical records. You will also manage medication records, support CNAs in delivering individualized care, and ensure effective communication with medical staff. Preferred experience includes 1 year in a similar role, with required certifications including BLS and LPN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of New York
