Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing direct patient care in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting under RN/physician supervision. Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, monitoring vital signs, assisting with feeding/dressing/mobility, following care plans, documenting care and medication administration, reporting changes to supervising nurses, and collaborating with RNs/physicians. Requires strong clinical and patient-care skills, excellent communication, teamwork, HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR, infection control, PPE usage, and a compassionate, resident-focused approach.
