Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a school-based program. Responsibilities include health assessments, administering first aid, managing medications, and collaborating with school staff and parents. Role involves effective communication and ensuring health policies are followed, with interventions implemented promptly to support the school’s healthcare system. LPN would ride the bus to and from school with students in addition to supporting throughout the school day.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (REQUIRED)
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (REQUIRED)
- Crisis management and Intervention certification (preferred may be required)
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities, pediatric nursing, or educational setting (preferred)
