Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lake Bennet Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in Ocoee, FL. Responsibilities include Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents; Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians; Medication administration; following infection control, emergencies, and center policies; collaborating with the resident’s interdisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes; identifying and reporting abnormal changes in residents’ condition; work under direct supervision per state Nurse Practice Act and center policies; deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care; collect patient/resident data, observe, and report pertinent information; implement and evaluate patient/resident plans of care per state regulations; direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations; maintain documentation requirements and knowledge of equipment setup and use; maintain confidentiality and patient/resident rights. QUALIFICATIONS: LPN licensed by the State; CPR Certification; Two Years prior nursing experience preferred.
