Job Summary
Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Units and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning. Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications including IV therapy (if certified), and performing diagnostic tests per established protocols. Collaborate in controlled substance counts, respond to codes or health emergencies, assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting. Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions while working under RN supervision. 0.9 FTE with three shifts weekly from 0630-1900, including rotating weekends and holidays. Requires current LPN licensure, CPR certification, and preference for one year of clinic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- 0.9 FTE LPN Days-3 shifts weekly 0630-1900 Rotating weekends Rotating holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
